Pics of me trying to figure out separates using my Pinterest inspiration and Midwest flare.

Closet Reacquaintance

One of the reason I really don’t need to shop is because I have a ton of clothes in my closet that I forget about. Does that ever happen to you? When I saw this inspiration I immediately thought of my sheer printed tunic that I bought last winter and don’t appreciate nearly enough.

Peach vs. Orange

I realize I’ve been calling these pants peach all this time, but I’m not entirely sure what the technical color is. All I know is that it seems too pretty to be orange.

Packer Backer

Yesterday my KISA and I went to the 49ers vs. Packers game. The Packers played a great game, but not great enough to pull out a win. It was rather disappointing because usually when I will something to happen enough it actually happens. Not this time. I have to say that overall 49ers fans were very amicable and only teased good-naturedly. Well, except a girl that screamed in my face, “Packers suck!” after the game. My KISA was proud of me for resisting my urge to trip her.

As for my attire, I opted to go with Packers green and gold. Even my shoes were yellow. The Packers fan behind us commended me on my outfit. Apparently the obnoxiousness of it wasn’t enough to distract the 49ers.

Casual Friday

I realize it’s the law to not wear white after Labor Day. Since I’m a rebel I decided to not only wear white today, but to break out my white linen pants. Whoa!

Plain Jane

I feel like the name Jane gets a bad wrap since it rhymes with ‘plain’. My middle name is Jane and I personally don’t think I’m very plain.

I liked the color combination in this inspiration and decided to try to replicate it. But, the end result was less than exciting. Maybe even a little plain.

Peachy Keen

Instead of being inspired today by an outfit I was inspired by a color palette: gray, peach, and navy.

Tweedin’ It Up

Yesterday I put on a bold, pink silk blouse with my white jeans. 10 minutes later I spilled Udo’s oil on my sleeve. In being forced to change I found another outfit I really wanted to try…before realizing I didn’t own a graphic t-shirt that isn’t Packers, Brewers, or Bucks. So, I improvised.
